This is a list of Wifi devices known to function with Core via community built device drivers (+ firmware). The list is designed to help find supported Wifi devices, and in determining which module extensions will be required to function with Core.

The list of devices relies on community input. If you have a functioning Wifi device supported by Core and it's extensions please add the required information to be included in this wiki list.

1

In addition to those specific extensions listed for the device, the following extensions are considered essential for all Wireless devices:
These default extensions are all dependencies of wifi.tcz and possibly other wifi connection managers. Therefore installing (wifi.tcz + those required listed extensions) should meet the requirements to connect your device to a router.

  • wireless_tools.tcz
  • libiw.tcz
  • wireless-3.0.21-tinycore.tcz
    • (Additionally required for Encrypted connections)
      • wpa_supplicant.tcz
      • openssl-1.0.0.tcz
2

This extension may be installed already as it is a dependency of most wifi managers
