New users may find it easier install Tinycore (with a Graphical User Interface), and become familiar with Tinycore before installing Core (with a Command line Interface). For installation guides, see the [[start|Index]].

Core may be installed in a similar way to Tinycore, but with the following modifications.

Use the Core-9.0.iso instead of the TinyCore-9.0.iso.

Microcore can be run without a graphical interface. When run that way, you can perform tasks using commands in the terminal. Following are examples.
